Without RegretThe car engine revves up with hastiness. Hastiness to escape this dreadful place. Now, without looking back, mistakes are left behind. Left to dissapate like the clouds of dirt from the undefined road she travels. She puts the car in drive with force , As if hoping to ward off any drifting doubts. She drives away with speed ,hoping the clinging past will not catch up. But that slight pang in her heart, tells her to turn back, to see truths held. The BallroomShe follows faint whispers within the old house. Moving room to room swiftly until a metal tarnished doorknob catches the corner of her eye. An old, worn door hidden by dust comes into focus as she walks hesitantly but with curiosity. She opens the door as it creeks in a high pitched yell, showing its old age. Shes engulfed immediately into the room by its warm bodily presence. Something within the walls grabbed and pulled at her. She is pulled into past memories held within the room. Suddenly, its a room livid with action and color. The old dark room is now the site of a ball. She can see these people, but only as a bystander. Unnoticed by aThe Ballroom
